CityClicker
Note from the developer, unfortunately one of the tilesets is refusing to load properly so the city is invisible >< I've run out of time to fix it but decided to still enter it because I've worked really hard on this. (Tbf I'll probably archive it once the jam is done). The first button is the wall, the 2nd is for a bullet tower and the 3rd is a laser tower.
What if a clicker game, a tower defence game and a resource management game came together in an unholy trinity?
You'd get City Clicker!
You are tasked with defending a colony on an alien planet from the unhappy locals. Can you defend the city long enough for the evacuation to be successful? There's only one way to find out!!
This game was made in 10 days by a solo dev. This is my third ever game jam entry, and all art, coding and music was done by me. Unfortunately I still haven't learnt the art of scoping so this is more of a prototype than a MVP. Please do excuse any bugs. (I am aware that the building placement collisions haven't been fully ironed out and the later buildings (like the store rooms) are glitching and are currently unusable. I'm sorry!
Given that I am trying to become a full time indie dev (usually making a platformer!) I'd really appreciate any feedback and I hope you can forgive the lack of polish. I was definitely overambitious with this!
Controls:
WASD - move camera
LMB - click on enemy ships, resource nodes & place towers etc
Top tips:
- Make sure you start by gathering resources! No resources, no towers!
- There is a line of text above the build menu that details what each building is, and how much it costs. The top left has all the resource bars so you can keep an eye on what you've got (or are missing!)
Thank you very much for your time, and I hope you had fun with this prototype :)

hey! That's a really cool game to pull together by yourself! I see it's potential!
Thank you so much!
